Biography

Xiaoqin Yan, born in Dec, 1973, is a professor of School of Materials Science and Engineering at University of Science & Technology Beijing. She was selected in Beijing New-star Plan of Science and Technology in 2008, and supported by Program for New Century Excellent Talents in University. She received her B.E. and M.E. in Materials Science and Engineering from Taiyuan University of Technology, in 1997 and 2001, and her Ph.D. condensed physics from Institute of Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2004. She is the new material technology expert in "twelfth five-year" national 863 program, senior member of China micro-nano technology association, and reviewers for many international academic journals.


Research Interests

Her recent research interests are functional nanomaterials, energy conversion and storage nanodevices, patterned growth of nanomaterials, and Raman spectra of new materials, etc.
