Biography

Guojie Wang is currently a professor at University of Science and Technology Beijing. He received his Ph.D. in Polymer Chemistry and Physics from Jilin University in 2000. He worked as a postdoctoral fellow at TsinghuaUniversity from 2000 to 2002. Then, he joined Institute of Chemistry, ChineseAcademy of Sciences as an associate professor. In 2005, he moved to the School of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the Georgia Institute of Technology (GIT) as a research fellow. After his one year stay at GIT, he moved to the Department of Chemistry at the KatholiekeUniversiteit Leuven. In 2008, he joined the School of Materials Science and Engineering atUniversity of Science and Technology Beijing as a full professor.


Research Interests

Prof. Wang's research interests are focused on smart polymers, self-assembly, nanomaterials, surface materials and biomedical materials.
