Biography

Dr. Liping Wang is the Professor of Department of Materials Physics and Chemistry, School of Materials Science and Engineering at USTB. She holds aBS. in organic chemistry from Jilin University, a MS. in organic chemistry from the Northeast Normal University, and a Ph.D. in inorganic chemistry from Changchun Institute AppliedChemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences. She visited the University of Texas at Arlington in 2007 and University of Washington duringMarch 2012 to March 2013 as a visiting scholar. She has published over 60 papers and applied for over 10 patents. 


Research Interests

-Organic opto-electronic materials, Organic semiconductors.

-Nanomaterials, Luminescent materials, Semiconductors.

-The preparation methods, structure and properties of inorganic nanocomposites and doped semiconductors.


Active Research Projects

-Title: “Design, synthesis of novel small-molecule organic semiconductors and study on their field-effect characteristics”

-Designing and synthesizing novel conjugated organic molecules to obtain air-stable organic semiconductors with high mobilities.

-Fabricating high-performance OFET devices and investigating carrier transport mechanisms.
