Biography

Hailei Zhao, the professor of School of Materials Science and Engineering, received her B.E. in ceramic manufacture from Jingdezhen Ceramic Institute in 1985, M.E. in inorganic nonmetallic materials from Tianjin University in 1990 and Ph.D. in metallurgical physicochemistry from University of Science and Technology Beijing in 1993. She is the panel member of Solid State Ionic Society of Chinese Ceramic Society, and the vice-director of Beijing Ceramic Society, China


Research Interests

Her recent research interest is advanced energy conversion and storage materials, including lithium ion batteries, solid oxide fuel cells, mixed conductors for gas separation.
